Forging

Many Locktiten's customers require their parts to work under intensive stress or resistant to shock and fatigue, including automotive parts, valve components, fasteners, hardware and tools. All these applications rely on forgings' strength and toughness. Our forging equipment is able to produce small to medium size parts with a wide variety of shapes and properties. Forged parts are known to be strong, tough and reliable.

Forgings internal structure is solid without any porous, and thus it is highly resilient under stress or impact, which is unparalleled by any other metalworking processes. Forgings are usually ready to use upon completion, its surface is close to perfect. Forgings can also be machined, drilled, polished plated, painted or processed by other secondary machining processses if necessary. Materials are usually stainless steel, carbon steels, aluminum, copper alloy, titanium and so on.
